My Great Uncle Sgt. Earl Dennis Tracey. The first image is Robert Moody, Radio/Gunner and on the viewer's right, is Earl Tracey (he's the shorter one). In the cockpit is Frank Darden, the crew's copilot. This was taken in France, and they were celebrating Moody's last mission. Notice that they have not shaven. I asked Bob if that was a superstition, and according to Moody, anything to get you out alive was fine with them. The second one is the 3 enlisted crewmen in front of Scorpion - Florien May, Engineer, then Moody and Tracey. Dana Donato |
